Duplicate items
Drop any item on the ground and walk back about five spaces. Make sure you have room in your inventory for two of the items. Click on the item and right when you are picking it up click on any of the items in your belt (the belt is the area that has 8 spaces for potions and scrolls.) If you did it right the box where it names the thing your clicker is on should name the thing you are trying to duplicate. Press the hotkey for inventory (I) and put it in your inventory. The original item should already be in your inventory. Make sure your inventory is closed while duplicating until you put the item in.
Baldur's Gate
At the begining,choose a class like warrior(never use the paladin). Go at the second floor of the building and open the drawer near a guy. Steel his cash. Go near the stair and a guard will be there. Kill him and you'll find plate armor and a good cap
Use any text editor (Notepad for example) and open the file Baldur.ini in your Baldur's Gate directory. Add the line Cheats=1 under the [Game Options] entry then save the file and run the game.
Once in the game, hit Ctrl-Tab to bring up the console in which you type the cheats. Ctrl-Tab will also close this console. Type in the cheats exactly as they appear below and hit the Enter key to activate.
The list of cheats are as follows:
Cheats:Hans() -- If you get stuck somehow this moves your characters to a free, adjacent area.
Cheats:ExploreArea() -- Marks the entire area as explored
Cheats:TheGreatGonzo() -- Summons 10 killer chickens who defend you at all cost.
Cheats:CowKill() -- Creates a CowKill spell if you're near a cow.
Cheats:CriticalItems() -- Spawns all the game critical items
Cheats:DrizztAttacks() -- Creates a hostile Drizzt
Cheats:DrizztDefends() -- Creates a friendly Drizzt
Cheats:FirstAid() -- Creates 5 healing potions, 5 neutralize poison potions and 1 stone to flesh scroll.
Cheats:Midas() -- Gives you 500 gold.
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("xxx") -- Summons a creature or NPC, where "xxx" is the name of any creature in the game.
CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP(###) -- Sets your experience to ###.
Type in the cheat exactly as they appear below and hit the Enter key to activate.

A very easy way to get XP, as long as your allignmnet allows this (if you are not a paladin or other lawful or good character) is find a "cloudkill" scroll. When you find one, go to Nashkel. In the tavern next to the bridge you'll find Volo. Go to the back room of the tavern and have a spellcaster cast the "cloudkill" aimed at Volo. Get out of the spell's radius so you don't get killed. Volo will die and yield 650 XP. He will immediately ressurect and die again, and again, and again. Get the picture?
While playing the game open up the dos string editer( that cluaconsole stuff ) and type CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Marl"). after this he says to get out and then you must talk to him agian, he then starts a dialoge and you reply with the statements...1,1,3,3,1 and then you get 900xp. Continue doing so until desired.
When starting the game in the Town of Candlekeep do all the "Quests" (errands for guards, and other characters). That means anything that gives experience. Once you have done this go to the Character Screen and export your character.
End the game and start a new game and import character. This allows you to start the game with the amount of experience that you had gained. Repeat until satisfied.
If you started game as thief or strong warrior and thief has high enough lockpicking skills. You may bust or unlock a chest in the starting Inn on the second floor, that contains a gem that is worth 1,000 gold peices.
Note: If you kill Sarevok the game will congratulate you and then freeze. You will have to exit the game, and you might possibly lose your saved game.
For those of you who use the CLUAConsole:CreateCreature cheat for amusement, here's some cool things to create.
Sarevo - Sarevok (Last Boss)
Elmins - Elminster (Level 29 Wizard, Can't be Killed)
Pheogurd - Pheonix Guard (Explode When Killed)
deathkn - Death Knight (Very Strong, only in Tales of Sword Coast Add on)
GBasil - Greater Basilisk
Ulraun - Ulraunt (Powerful Wizard)
Carrio - Carrion Crawler
Merlin - Merlin the Magician
If you Charm Merlin, you can make him walk around and attack things. He knows all the 6th level spells.
Buy some Master Potions of Thievery at the Carnival. Go to Nashkell's blacksmith. If you use two (generally gets your pick pocket skill above 100%) - you can steal a ton of Large Shield +1's (and sell them back at different merchants, or give them to your characters)
Export the character that has the object(s) you wish to duplicate, export said character to a vacant slot. Then, when in a game, import that character to get the items in his/her inventory. The same character can be imported multiple times to the same party.
